Lynn Bogue Hunt, a renowned American artist, was celebrated as the most prolific outdoor illustrator of the mid-20th century. He holds the record for painting 106 covers for Field & Stream, and has illustrated numerous books on waterfowling, upland bird hunting, and saltwater fishing, many of which are now considered classics. Hunt's work has been published in several acclaimed portfolios, and he designed the 1939-40 Federal Duck Stamp. The New York Times hailed him as 'the Audubon of his time'.
